Darkness....

Was reading someone blog this morning...
About the darkness in everyone...
How one can choose to go into the darkness and isolate himself/herself from others...
It is a form of protection, protecting oneself form getting emotionally harm by people...

That reminds me of what Shi Kun said yesterday to me...
He is going into the darkness... There is no light for him... No more hope...
Because he thinks that he did really bad for his exam...
Then I told him... Open you eyes, turn on the light.... Lastly I told him "crap" after he keep saying GG with me...

To me, when one goes into darkness, it is to show how much the person crave for the light.
You might build wall around you to isolate yourself, but when you really found a person that is really want to be your friend. You will tear down the wall faster than anything...

The deeper you go... The longer it takes for you to come back up...
When one isn't deep in the darkness, the craving for light is low while light is still visible... A person will not appreciated the light at this point...
When one is deep in the darkness, the craving of light is high however light might not be longer visible... There might be a little light from time to time...
But due to the huge craving one is having, that tiny little light does not look attracting any more.
Hence the deeper you go, the harder it is to get yourself back up unless there is this huge light that able to attract you.

Sound chim? Actually it is not... It shares the same logic as your hungriness...

The hungrier you are... The more food you need to get yourself full...
When one isn't hungry, the craving for food is low even when there is food... A person will not appreciated the food at this point...
When one is very hungry, the craving for food is high however there might not be food around... From time to time, one might find a little snack...
But due to the huge craving one is having, that tiny little snack does not look attracting any more.
Hence the hungrier you are, the harder it is to get yourself full unless there is this huge amount of food that able to attract you.

I dunno y am I blogging about this...
But just wan to say... Everyone is balance, when one side of you goes into darkness another side of you will try to pull you out...

I do go to the darkness time to time... It is kind of fun there... Lonely isn't that bad at times, it can get scary but it does protects you...
Like joining a gang, it protects you give u a sense belonging... But it isn't easy to get out

However though it is a choice to go to the darkness... And it is never the best choice...

i'll have to disagree with you on that one. the blog that you were reading has got it right in my opinion. we escape from expectations and hopes because we don't wanna be hurt by disappointment. nothing more, nothing less.

and when we retreat into darkness, we might not necessarily crave hope or light. if it's our comfort zone, so be it. and even if we want some hope in our lives, when you are desperate enough to shun from things, where is this hope you speak? who do we go to for hope? for light?

Awwwwwwwww.awwwwwwww

Do you have to do this to me....

But I still thinks that, when one is going back to the comfort zone. The person is actually trying to show something. It is like, when a kids scream and shout and annoy all the people around them. It is a form of getting attention from people, they try to make ppl angry because the crave for happiness and care from ppl.

Sometime you don't look for hope, hope comes to you... Many people are pull out of their darkness by other. Walking out of darkness without any light is an almost impossible task... Light can come from all form, someone counseling you showing you the direction of light, someone comes to you help...

Like you said, darkness is a comfort zone. No one will try to find a way out of comfort zone until someone shows them that the light is so much more comfortable.
